Best Foreign Medical Schools

To enter programs of graduate medical education in the United States that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), international medical graduates must hold a Standard ECFMG Certificate without expired examination dates, if applicable. However, for international medical graduates, obtaining ECFMG Certification is just one of the steps required to enter such programs. The purpose of this section is to provide an introduction to the steps typically involved in entering graduate medical education in the United States.
